DAY 01: BANGKOK – AYUTHAYA - PHITSANULOKE (-/L/-)
Depart from hotel in Bangkok for Ayuthaya, the former capital of Thailand. Visit Wat Yai Chai Mongkhon and visit Wat Chaiwatthanaram. After lunch at local restaurant, continue to visit Wat Prasri Rattana Mahathat with its most beautiful Buddha Image, Phra Phutthachinnarat in Phitsanuloke. overnight at hotel in Phitsanuloke.
DAY 02: PHITSANULOKE – SUKHOTHAI – LAMPANG (B/L/-)
After breakfast, drive to visit important ruins of the Royal Palace and Buddhist temples such as Wat Mahathat and Wat Si Chum in the Historical Park of Sukhothai, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Then drive further north to Lampang province, visit Wat Phra That Lampang Luang, with a golden Chedi in Lanna architectural style containing a Holy Relic and a Burmese style temple - Wat Phra Kaew Don Tao. If time permits, guest has an opportunity to ride on a horse-drawn carriage to explore Lampang city and its cultural attractions (optional). Overnight at hotel in Lampang.
DAY 03: LAMPANG – PAYAO – CHIANG RAI - GOLDEN TRIANGLE - MAE SAI (B/L/-)
After breakfast at the hotel, depart for Payao province, a short stroll along Kwan Payao, an extensively fresh-water lake. Then drive for panoramic view at the Golden Triangle, where Thailand, Laos and Myanmar meet on the Mekong River and visit the Opium Museum in Chiang Saen. Then continue to Mae Sai, Thailand’s northern- most district to visit Mae Sai Market at the Thai-Burmese border. Overnight at hotel in Chiang Rai.
DAY 04: CHIANG RAI – CHIANG MAI – DOI SUTHEP – HANDICRAFT VILLAGE (B/L/-)
After early breakfast at hotel, depart for Chiang Mai, drive uphill to visit Wat Phratat Doi Suthep, the most famous and respected temple in Chiang Mai. In the afternoon visit San Kampaeng handicraft village to see silk weaving, wood carving and umbrella making. Evening at lesisure. Overnight at hotel in Chiang Mai.
DAY 05: MAE SA ELEPHANT CAMP- ORCHID FARM – CHIANG MAI AIRPORT/ RAILWAY STATION (B/L/-)
After breakfast at hotel start the trip to Mae Sa Valley to see elephants at work at an elephant camp. Continue to one of the biggest orchid and butterfly farms of Chiang Mai. Transfer to Chaing Mai railway station to take a train to Bangkok or transfer Chiang Mai Airport to take flight to Bangkok. (Air ticket or Train ticket by own arrangement)
